Line Cook


Job Description
As a Line Cook at Stonebridge Golf Club, you will play an integral role in creating high-quality meals that meet our high standards of excellence. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing dishes for both our bistro and banquet events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food preparation, a passion for cooking, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining presentation and taste quality.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations.
  • Be proactive in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a kitchen setting preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Seasonal, part-time/full-time position. All applicants must have availability from April – October.
