Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining presentation and taste quality.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Be proactive in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a kitchen setting preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
