As a Tournament & Event Bartender at Stonebridge Golf Club, you will play a key role in delivering excellent guest service during a variety of special events, banquets, and gatherings. The ideal candidate will be personable, attentive, and have a strong knowledge of bartending and event service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Stonebridge Golf Club's standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout events.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, offering suggestions and answering questions about drinks.
- Work closely with event coordinators and staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Ensure the accurate handling of cash and credit card transactions.
- Adhere to all provincial and company guidelines regarding alcohol service and safety.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events.
- Monitor guest behavior and ensure compliance with Smart Serve requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends and cocktail recipes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet, event, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail recipes, and wine and beer service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
